Boys are grouped in dens of 6-10 boys by
grade level. They meet with their den leader approximately twice per
month to participate in activities or work on achievements/requirements
planned by the den leaders. There are some work/activities to be
completed at home. Boys also participate in the monthly Pack meetings.
Pack meetings are held once each month, usually scheduled on a Friday evening. Pack members are informed of Pack meeting details by their Den Leaders, as well as information posted to this web site.
Cub Pack 859 is a member of the Simon Kenton
Council, BSA. Pack events and activities are organized by a group
of Leaders and the Pack Committee comprised of volunteers (usually
parents). See
Contact Us for the individuals
currently active in our Pack.
Volunteers are the lifeblood of the Cub Scout organization. Please consider donating some time to this very worthwhile endeavor! There are many ways to help for whatever amount of time you can spare. We have current volunteers who would be willing to pass on information and ideas to make the job easy! Click here for the positions that need filled soon.. REMEMBER WE NEED YOU!
Cub Scouts wear their groups neckerchief (Tiger, Wolf, Bear, Webelos) and the blue uniform shirt with the appropriate decals and badges to all den, pack and scouting activities. Pack 859 also has an Official Pack T-Shirt worn under the uniform shirt and to other select activities. In addition to the uniform shirt and neckerchief scouts may wish to wear a red felt "brag vest" for displaying segments and patches earned.
